Secure Hard Drive Destruction

Hard drives carry too many secrets to simply be binned or “cleaned” by a third party prior to resale. When your equipment has reached the end of its productive life, very often the hard drive inside has a perfectly accessible record of all the items that have been saved or passed through it over time. If the hard drive is not destroyed, but is cleaned, and resold (‘recycling your hard disk’) or simply thrown away, that information could be accessed by unknown third parties and leave you open to a personal or commercial prosecution, or worse...

Hard drives don’t just live in your desktop or notebook. They are often standalone devices too and they are to be found in places you wouldn’t think to look: Printers, Faxes, Scanners, even USB sticks are potential information leaks if not destroyed in accordance with a consistent company disposal policy.

Our Offering

We can provide secure hard drive disposal such as wiping, shredding, milling or even granulation, guaranteeing there is no possible chance of resurrecting any information from the destroyed media.

We can dispose of the residue of your hard drive/electronic media in an environmentally safe manner and issue you a Certificate of hard drive destruction confirming that your items have been totally physically destroyed. This certificate is able to be relied on as cast-iron proof that you have complied with the Privacy Act insofar as the destruction of computerised records is concerned.
